So recently i've been trying to play some Modern Warfare on ps4 with my brother and my girlfriend, installed everything from the disc and all its data packs but was met with a "Installation Suspended" message when i wanted to play co-op. I had a quick little google and reddit search and found three options: Uninstall then reinstall the game.

Maybe you need download modern warfare again, sorry I do this things and works for me -⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠Start the downloads from within the game. ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠-Always close the game properly. Press the O-button till you reach the start picture and then close the game. That’s the only thing that works.

Turn off ps5 and update in safe mode. Turn off PS5 then go back into safe mode. Rebuild Database. Renew Licenses after turning PS5 back on. Once that happens..if you have the disc, it should be in your game library. Go to game library and download all packs (add ons). Close game and turn off ps5. Turn ps5 (or 4 back on), and insert disc. From there the screen comes on in safe boot mode. Plug in the controller and press the ps button. The scroll down with directional pad to the option to clear system cache. Select it and let it do its thing. From there my system turned back on and I was able to re download the game and all packs. It looks like one of the 2 campaign files (15GB) wasn't fully installed, but the "Manage game" section said all files and DLCs were installed. So just select the file you wanna check for installation, click start on your controller, then click "See in Microsoft store". If it's not actually fully installed, you'll have an "Install" button showing. The “purchase Modern Warfare 2” message appears to be caused by a glitch that tries to load players into Modern Warfare 2’s menus, even though they are looking for Warzone 2 matches. Other users that own both games have reported being randomly moved into MW2 when looking for a match.
Now select Restore Licenses and then confirm to restore licenses by clicking on Restore. Restore Licenses PlayStation. So if you've tried uninstalling all the packs and then reinstalling them and that didn't work try rebooting the playstation systems, I think I remember you have to hold on to the power button for a couple seconds and then it goes into the factory settings for the playstation 5 try resetting it without erasing the complete data that is stored on it

It must be recognized that in addition to offering a high-level single-player campaign, the multiplayer experience was on point.

In this menu go to "Playstation Store" and on the right side it should then say "Add ons". Klick on this and it will prompt you to a list of all possible Add ons, including the ones you already installed. Check for any Multiplayer Packs AND Compatibility Packs that are not installed.
